Want to Join PAC?
The Park Avenue Community (PAC) has been serving the Ford Birth-site Neighborhood for nearly 5 years. We are a group of Christians who are business professionals trying to learn what it means to love one’s neighbor. We highly value and believe that God works through small acts of kindness. The house currently includes 3 women and 2 men. Our jobs range from landscaper, audiologist, nurse, ESL teacher, to math teacher. Our youngest member is 26 and our oldest is 29. We each attend our different churches which include Coram Deo, Core Community, and Simple Free. We also have a hyper vizsla. We have liturgy during the weekdays at 6:15am and occasionally during the evening.
We currently have a room opening for a male house mate. We are looking for someone who wants to be challenged in their daily living confronting not just their neighbors poverty but the poverty that dwells within. We often say that the hardest part about living in community is dealing with one’s self. We ask for a year commitment and after that you can stay as long as you want.
